Comprehensive Exams
By examining your teeth once every three to six months as per the American Dental Association’s® recommendation, we can identify and treat potential trouble spots before they become serious problems. We perform a thorough examination, evaluating the health of your teeth and gums. We then review any findings with you and the options needed to return you to excellent oral health.
Dentures
Self-conscious about wearing dentures? Don’t be. Our dentures look and feel so natural, the only thing people will see is a winning smile. Custom designed to match your appearance as well as your bite, they’re protected by exceptionally long warranties. With so many sensibly priced styles, shades and materials to choose from, we’re sure to find a solution that fits your budget as comfortably as our dentures fit you.
Extractions
Have a tooth that needs to be taken out? We provide tooth extraction, then provide a detailed series of steps for you to follow to speed up the healing process.
Root Canals
In the most severe cases, the plaque that causes tooth decay eats its way through the enamel that forms the outer layer of your tooth and attacks the soft core of tissue inside known as the pulp. If that happens, you may need a root canal to save the tooth. The procedure typically takes no more than three visits and is no more painful than having a filling. After the infected pulp is removed, the pulp chamber and root canals are cleaned, shaped and sealed. With regular checkups and proper care, your restored tooth should last for the rest of your life.
Fillings
If you don’t brush, floss and see your dentist regularly, tooth decay can set in and you could wind up with a cavity. We offer resin tooth colored fillings that not only look and feel better but also bond to the tooth to make it stronger. If you prefer, you can have composite (white) fillings that more closely match the color of your teeth.
Dental Cleanings
Having a professional dental cleaning once every six months can improve your appearance, your breath – even your overall health. Recent studies seem to suggest a link between poor oral hygiene and an increased risk of heart attack and strokes. By removing plaque before it hardens into tartar and irritates and infects your gum tissue, we can keep you and your teeth healthy. Once we thoroughly clean and floss your teeth, we’ll polish them to restore their natural luster.
Dental X-Rays
Digital radiography (digital x-ray) is the latest technology used to take dental x-rays. Electronic sensors are used to capture digital images instead of an x-ray film, which makes them instantly viewable to your dentist for a quick diagnosis. With digital x-rays, patients benefit from a reduction of radiation exposure by 80-90% compared to the already low exposure of traditional imaging methods.
